Color Culture is a small team of painters, refinishers and finish carpenters working with architects, designers and discerning homeowners from Malibu to Newport Beach. Our practice is built around restraint: fewer projects, deeper attention, finishes that read quietly in person and unmistakably in photographs.
Every interior begins with a sample wall and a conversation about light. Every wood piece is prepared by hand. We protect the architecture you already love and let the materials tell the rest of the story.
CRAFTSMANSHIP
The detail is the work.
We prepare every surface as if it will be photographed in oblique light — because eventually it is. Walls are floated to a level-five finish, woodwork is sanded between four coats, and brass is re-installed only after the last finish has fully cured.
