The existing cabinets were well built and still worked perfectly, but the dark wood finish made the kitchen feel heavier than the homeowners wanted.
Instead of replacing the cabinetry, we recommended refinishing it. This allowed the homeowners to preserve the original layout and construction while creating a cleaner, brighter atmosphere.

We begin by carefully removing the cabinet doors, drawers, and hardware. Each component is labeled so it can be returned to its original position during reassembly.
The surrounding countertops, floors, appliances, and fixed surfaces are then protected before preparation begins.
Kitchen cabinets naturally collect grease, oils, and residue. If these remain on the surface, even a high-quality coating may not bond correctly.

Once preparation is complete, we apply the appropriate primer and allow it to dry fully. The primed surfaces are then inspected and refined before the finish coats are applied.
